THE EXTREMELY TINY YORKIE PUP…… (THE “MINI” TEACUP)
Margaret writes,
Hi there MIJOY
I am very interested in a teacup yorkie, and would even go
as far as to say the tinier the better.
Could you please advise me what the qualifications would be from my side,
to qualify as a suitable owner for such a tiny dog.
Thanks
Margaret - South Coast.
Hi Margaret
Thank you for your mail.
Firstly those pups you are talking about the pups as adult weight 550gms
and 600gms are EXTREMELY RARE……… We do get them, but not very often.
- · You would have to be a stay at home parent – as anyone
who works is not suitable to own this baby – irrespective if the pup goes to
work or not.
- · It would be preferable that the new owner had
experience with the yorkie breed and having experience with a small yorkie
would be an added benefit.
- · It would be beneficial if it were the ONLY pup
in the home, although this is not necessary, as long as other pets are
controlled.
- · Your vet must be happy to handle such a tiny
baby – if he/she has no experience or is not familiar with the really small dog
– that could be a problem for the new owner and a concern to ourselves.
- · You would have to invest in a playpen, a sturdy
secure one especially if you have other pets. The really tiny teacup needs to
be contained. You would also have to invest in additional heating as even in
the warmer months a very tiny pup could feel the cold.
- · You must be prepared to get up regularly during
the night, as this tiny pup is going to need to be fed during the night. The really small babies eat up to 7 and 8
times a day.
- · Ideally the prospective new owner should have no
children, if one does have children,
make sure your children understand that the baby is a NO ZONE for them, unless
you the owner are physically in their presence when handling that baby. The
best place for anyone wanting to pick up and handle such a tiny is on the
floor. Obviously not the owner, but any visitor or family member etc. NEVER let that baby out of your sight
when you have guests around, it would even be far more beneficial to you and
the pup if it is kept away from visitors and is penned in a locked room.
- · Remember that the tinier the pup the more hands
on that pup will be. We will NEVER pass
on a pup that is not 100% capable of going to a new home – BUT that tiny pup is
going to be dependent on its new owner 100%. We will never consider selling
such a tiny to anyone who we believe is not the right owner for such a tiny.
- · The ideal owner, is a Lady or Gent who are at
home 99.9% of the time. The beginning
and end of everything revolves around that tiny pup/dog. Those babies prior to leaving us will have
been thoroughly checked by our vet. Anything we are or may be concerned about
will have been investigated. We will NEVER pass on pups with any agenda we are
aware of. Our pups will all carry health
guarantees, against anything life threatening e.g. heart or liver, that is
diagnosed in the first year of their life.
- · Ultimately it is our decision if we are prepared
to sell that tiny puppy to a prospective owner. We will not be motivated by HOW
good a home it will have, as we would not deal with any future buyer that we
did not believe would give our babies the very best home.
- · Anyone interested in purchasing or owning that
very tiny pup/dog, has to realise that it is a huge commitment, no holidaying
away without the pup/dog in tow. No
leaving it with a baby sitter. We are also not interested in how many
babysitters are available - that TINY should be almost glued to its owner.
I have done this with a particular dog of my own for years.
If you are that special someone and are prepared to take on the huge
responsibility such a BABY requires, you may just get one from us – ONE DAY.
THANKS.

LONGEVITY OF THE TINY YORKIE……
The longevity of the really tiny yorkie starts off with the
Breeder. If the pup is bred correctly and by this we mean not repeatedly
interbred, as some people do – the pup should be off to a flying start. If it is reared in those first few weeks of
life properly, well nourished, another piece to the puzzle. If it
passes all the vet examinations with flying colours, it will then be passed
onto its new owner. Hopefully the new
owner will be very particular in the care of this tiny pup. Again proper
nutrition, regular check ups, all the deworming and inoculations necessary, sterilization
etc.
There is NO reason at all that the smaller sized YORKIE will
not live every bit as long a life as the normal sized yorkie, IF properly cared
for.
Our sympathies to Catherine De Villiers – DODI - 16 year old
much loved 1.2kg yorkie passed away yesterday 19 August 2010 – his tribute
appears on our Rainbow Bridge.
In loving memory 19 AUGUST 2010
The above proves that a properly bred and cared for tiny yorkie will reach a very good age.
ONCE again I would like to point out that WE at MIJOY do not breed our tinies. The gene for those very small dogs is carried in our lines of which we have a good few. We do not INTERBREED, which is the main reason for the smaller sized dogs having the problems some have.............OUR BABIES ARE ALL GUARANTEED.

Subject: Yorkie
My name is
Deborah and I live in the North of Johannesburg. Three years ago we went on holiday to the
Cape. We had been looking forward to our
holiday with great anticipation, I – my Husband and our two teenagers. We left
Johannesburg at 11 one Wednesday night.
We owned a small little yorkie of 1.6kg.
The Yorkie was always ready to cuddle with anyone he could, and when we
had loaded the car we put him in with the kids under the blankets. We thought
no more of this. We hit a pothole and our one tyre was badly damaged. So we replaced that around 1 in the
morning. I developed a terrible pain in
the stomach and ended up visiting toilet after toilet on route. We eventually settled down and then it was
time for us to stop and have something to eat.
The kids were starting to wake up.
We started
getting out of the car, and I shouted to the kids to bring Bambi. My eldest said that Bambi had to be with me,
he was not with them. My heart sank into
my shoes, we checked the car – no Bambi. He had obviously got out at one of our
many stops along the road. I felt ill
with worry, and said to my husband we had to go back. He said that would be useless, the dog would
have been found and hopefully that person would contact us. He also said that
someone may just decide to keep him. I
just wanted to go all the way back and check along the road sides for any sign
of my beloved dog. Of course that was
being ridiculous. We did however manage to call someone, a client of my
husbands who we knew was travelling down that afternoon, and we mentioned all
the places we had stopped at and he very kindly stopped at all those places and
made enquiries. He did find out that the
dog had been seen and had been picked up by a young woman in a White Golf. One of the petrol attendants told him he had
seen the dog, once we had driven off and there was nothing he could do about
it. He had tried to catch the dog but it kept giving him the slip and when he
cornered it, it yelled out and
threatened to bite so he left it. We
arranged to have posters put up at that Petrol station and all the robots in
close proximity. We would not know if the person who took our dog was from the
area or passing through. The Petrol attendant said he had never seen the woman
or her car before.
Bambi is
micro chipped and he wore a collar with an identity tag on it. Our cell phone numbers appeared on both sides
of the disc. It became obvious to us
that the person who took the dog had no intention of returning it to us, as
they never called. I was more than
bitter over this. Maybe we were negligent in thinking he would not get out of the
car, but he did, and he was chipped and had a collar advising of his identity
and ownership.
The holiday
we had looked forward to for months on end, was the worst time of my life. On our return some two weeks later, we spent
two days in the area in which our dog got lost. We over -nighted and went to
all the nearby shops and restaurants in an attempt to try and locate our dog.
We even arranged for the newspaper to put a write up in their news. All to no
avail.
If the
person who took Bambi had any idea just how much that animal was loved they
would have done their best to reunite him with his family. Our life has just never been the same since
we lost him. It took me weeks and weeks to get over the emptiness inside of me,
I would turn around constantly thinking I would find him behind me. I would find myself listening for that little
yap, when we came home. He would sit on the window ledge waiting for our
return.
My Husband
has suggested we get another yorkie, but I still cannot face having another
yorkie, I could not face looking into another little Yorkies eyes, and
wondering what Bambi had thought, when he saw us drive away, never to see us
again.

Dear Mijoy
I know this
may sound stupid but how do you breed the really tiny Yorkies? I have read through your site but would like
you to answer me directly if you have the time. I have no intention of breeding
Yorkies, but I am interested as I have purchased one of those supposedly very
tiny dogs – but when the pup arrived it was anything but tiny. The Breeder assured me it will not grow.
I would also
like to ask you, if you have a very tiny pup if you could hold onto it for a
few months and then sell it to me, so I am assured it is going to be very tiny.
Many thanks
Jackie
Hi Jackie
If you have
read all the info on my site I am sure you will have a pretty good idea how we
come by those VERY small dogs. I am not
prepared to get involved with other breeders or what they consider to be
TINY. We all have our own opinions. I
can only tell you how we breed those very small dogs and it is not by breeding
those very small dogs to each other. It is in our lines and something that
started happening with our dogs a considerably long time ago. If the tiny is bred properly, and by this I
mean not interbred (and repeatedly interbred) the pup should be a healthy
little dog. WE do not release any pup we feel is too tiny to cope without the
aid of its dog mother - a good few of these really tiny dogs stay with their
mother and have access to MOMMY all the time and in some cases the mother will
baby that particular tiny pup till it is 3 and 4 months of age. We do not
interfere with that happening, we feel the mother dog will know intuitively when
the baby can cope quite happily on its own.
The tiniest dogs I have ever bred which were 550 and 602gms as adults,
have had access to their mothers till they were a good few months old. We still
have the 602gm dog and he is now six and a half years old.
If we hold
onto a baby for a good few months because it is really tiny, we will more than
likely keep that pup as it will be difficult for both the pup and us to part
ways. Once a bond has developed between a pup and ourselves, it will be VERY
difficult for that pup to go onto another home. We are not the run of the mill
BREEDER, who has pups and sees them as a product. So if we bond with a
particular pup we would not part with it.
I have kept a pup before for people till it was four months of age, but
that was decided from day one, it would go at four months of age, because it
was leaving the country. We had no alternative, but it is not the normal way we
operate. With MIJOY it is always about
what is best for the pup concerned.
Sizing of a
pup can be difficult, even for us who have been involved with the breed for
more than 30 years. I have sold pups
where I thought the pup would reach 1.8kg – 2kg and the pup reached 1kg. We do not guarantee our pups size – we do our
best, and if the client at the time of purchase is happy with the pup and its
size, we consider that a done deal.
Obviously we do not expect a pup sold as a small sized dog to reach a
standard yorkie size. It is always a gamble and we are not God. We guarantee our
dogs for the first year of their life against anything life threatening, e.g.
liver, heart etc. We are the only
breeders to our knowledge who do this. Over the years I have lost the odd pup
that I have bought and the breeders do not replace those pups. I would if it
happened to one of my clients, but that is ME.
IT does
happen rarely that a pup does not grow that much at all and stays tiny. This is
possibly the case with the one you have in hand.
We hold onto
our tinies till we feel they are able to go to a new home. We do not however,
hold onto them for months on end and then pass them on.
Thanks for
your mail.

Subject: Hello Mijoy
My YORKIE
recently had a terrible bout of diarrhea – we were away at the time, and my
parents who were babysitting left it, thinking the dog would overcome the
problem. On our return home some days later, we rushed the dog to the vet. He
was put on a drip, and very fortunately for us, he survived. My vet was very annoyed with us, and I in
turn with my parents. When should one take
a pup with an upset stomach to the vet? Is there any medication one can
administer at home? This situation has
us all up in arms.
Sonia
Hi Sonia
I think it is
very important that any dog with an upset stomach especially a bad one, be seen by a vet immediately. You are very lucky your dog survived. The dog will dehydrate and that could lead to
its death if not sorted in the short term. Do not mess around with home remedies. You have to know what the cause
of the problem is. Often the dog eats something, a plant, and the upset stomach
is a way for the body, to attempt to rid
itself of the toxins. Change of diet of
course often leads to tummy upset, but DIARRHEA in any animal is not something
to play with – seek professional help immediately.
Consider
boarding your yorkie at a reputable boarding facility when you next go
away. Your pet should not become the responsibility
of family when you are not around.

Subject: RE: Scams
Hello Mijoy and THANK YOU.
We have been interested in buying a yorkie or Biewer for
quite a while now. The Biewers appear to
be scarce. Friends of ours in America own two Biewer Terriers – they are divine
dogs. I have made so many phone calls
and have realised some to be scams. The most recent scam I came across in Port
Elizabeth with Yorkies. Thank you for
drawing the public’s attention to the scams out there. We became aware of it fortunately, but a work
mate of my Husbands – fell into the trap.
I cannot believe people resort to this type of thing.
Sincerely Gloria

BREEDERS VISITING THIS SITE: Kindly take note. It has become
obvious to myself as well as other fellow breeders that some BREEDERS are
copying information from our sites word for word, and helping themselves to our
information and articles. IF you are a
BREEDER – surely you have your own information to supply your website visitors
with – without resorting to theft.

Hi there
I was wondering if you could give me any advice. Last year I purchased a yorkie that needed to be medicated. It turned into a nightmare, as every time he saw me with the pills he would duck. This year he has gone down with Kennel Cough and again needs to be medicated. He just sees me and the pill and is off under the bed where it is impossible to catch him.
Is there an easier way? My vet offered me a suspension if that would have been easier – should I possibly go and get the suspension in preference to the pill and if so could I add it to milk or something like that? My dog is going to end up hating me. Please help.
Many thanks - Susanne
Hi Susanne Firstly stick to the tablet form. I am not sure about adding the suspension to milk as that may dilute its effect. You would have to ask your vet about that. Suspension is fine as long as you hold the dogs head at the normal angle and not tilted to the back as that could cause him to choke. You would gently syringe the liquid in while he swallows. It sounds as if your dog is already stressed over being medicated so more than likely not the answer. You can get what is called a pill popper that is similar to a syringe in appearance, but actually holds the pill in place and then you put it right at the back of the dogs mouth push the plunger and hold the dog’s mouth closed. Can work very well. However, seeing, you have a stressed dog on your hands - invest in some liver paste. Those tubes you buy at the supermarket with the paste contents. Take about half a teaspoon and put the pill in the centre making sure, it is totally coated. Offer the dog that to eat. If you find he resists accepting that put him in a bathroom with the coated tab, and leave him for a while. Chances are on your return you will find he has eaten it. If this does not work, you could put the pill in cheese, mince whatever you think he would like. Once he has taken the pill the answer is to praise him – GOOD BOY – such a GOOD BOY ….. he will then soon forget about the bad experience he has had in the past and begin to trust you again. I am sure this will work for you…..
Best of luck Joyce

The Anti- Drowning and Anti-Lost Alarm

It is a water immersion alarm, and both types
of alarm are combined in the one unit. It is an electronic safety device for protecting children and pets
against drowning or straying.
It is totally portable and can be taken anywhere.
How does this
system work?
Anti-Drowning Alarm:
when the child or pet is immersed into any water (0-50m), the Base Unit will
sound alarm and vibrate.
Anti-Lost Alarm:
when the child or pet is walking or running away (50m), the Base Unit will
sound alarm and vibrate.

THE BRACELET – COLLAR
Totally water – resistant , is worn and locked into position
on the child’s wrist or dogs neck. The
bracelet or collar needs no interaction from the wearer. It cannot be unlocked
unless the key provided is used.
Irrespective of how good a device may be in protecting your beloved
child or adored pet from getting lost or drowning, it is still imperative, that
the child or animal be watched and the equipment be used under supervision.
The anti-lost alarm is a brilliant concept - if you should
take your dog for a walk in the park, a run on the beach. Please remember NO
system can take the place of a parent or caregiver or dog owner. Please take
that into account. Do not leave any
child or animal, unattended.
The anti-lost alarm, distance can be changed to different
distances up to 50m. The device will
work perfectly well even if other people in close proximity are making use of
the same device.

This combined alarm can be used in all areas of daily
living. The supermarket, the street, public functions, on boats, in pools both
private and public, garden fish ponds and water features, anywhere you want to
make use of it.

The anti-drowning alarms maximum distance is always around
50metres, this is not changed even if the anti-lost alarms distance is changed.. The anti-lost alarms distance can be
changed with a maximum distance of 50m. This product is mainly used when you
are in close proximity to the child or pet. IT is not designed to be used as an alternative to proper supervision.

DEAR VISITORS, YORKIE OWNERS AND FUTURE YORKIE OWNERS….
Firstly thank you for all your mails and all the compliments
and appreciation you have shown us. YORKIES are my passion and have been for 30 years plus……
It shows…..
We must thank the folk on our waiting list, for their patience, GENUINE TEACUP YORKIES especially are
very hard to come by and are major rare, as the majority of you realise. Some folk get upset when they find themselves
waiting for a lengthy period of time.
The good thing about our teacup pups, they are healthy – correctly
bred, are guaranteed against any life threatening health condition, and if this
was ever to happen, we would replace the pup concerned. We are not big breeders, we do not mass
produce pups and we most certainly would never want to. We only breed from quality, healthy Yorkies in our breeding
program. Our breeding girls are only used for a limited period of time, after which they are sterilised, and remain with us to enjoy life. We do not sell or re home our adult dogs, or ex-breeding dogs. Our pups are raised in our
home, and handled from day one, the reason they have the superb temperament, so
many of you comment on.
Our pups are all sold with a sales agreement contract,
registered, inoculated, dewormed and micro-chipped. ALL OUR PUPS CARRY HEALTH GUARANTEES. They are all thoroughly
examined by our vet prior to leaving us. We have NEVER let any pup leave our
care without being inoculated and thoroughly checked by our vet. Our pups are
sold only as pets, not for any form of breeding, and that includes one litter.
We request that our pups be sterilised at 6 months of age.
We have no option but to decline a lot of folk who contact
us for pups, we have a very long waiting list, and actually stopped taking
further orders for a period of time. Two
people, who received their pups earlier this year that were on our waiting
list, are again back on the waiting list for another pup. We do have the occasional pup available,
although the majority of our pups are sold before they are born.
We do ruffle the odd feathers periodically and have negative
comments made, but our main concern is to produce healthy, happy pups for
deserving animal lovers and yorkie lovers. Furthermore we go out of our way to
be of any service that any GENUINE YORKIE LOVER may require.
It is not about how small or how
tall
How well coated or
How well coloured our yorkies are
Each and every one of us believe
our baby is the most beautiful and rightfully so.
A YORKIE is a blessing and we are
blessed to own them.
It is indeed an honour for us to be
involved with so many GENUINE people out there – whose main objective is
exactly the same as ours at MIJOY
To care for and love our yorkie/s
To do our utmost for our YORKIE
children
GOD BLESS.
MIJOY - OUR GUARANTEE TO YOU:
- Our babies, Yorkies and Biewer yorkies are all sold with a Sales Agreement Contract
- Our pups are all registered, (we do not have unregistered dogs)
- Inoculated and dewormed
- They are all sold with health guarantees
- They are all vet checked
- The tinies – have their eyes tested at the eye specialist clinic by an Eye specialist and a health certificate provided
- Our pups are all Identipet – Microchipped
- Our pups are available as treasured pets to approved homes only
- We do not sell our babies for any form of breeding (this includes one litter)
- Our babies are all home raised - totally socialised
- We GUARANTEE our pups temperament, they will never be nervous, insecure etc, they are handled from the day they are born.
- Enjoy peace of mind, involved with the YORKIE breed for 30 years.
- Our tinies are correctly bred. We do not interbreed to produce the very small dogs, the gene for the very small dog is in our dogs lines and therefore we do not breed from the TEACUP sized dog at all.
- We DO NOT compromise the health of our dogs and their offspring, in our breeding program.
- We are NOT kennel breeders our dogs are not caged.
- We RESERVE the right to refuse to sell a tiny pup or dog to anyone, who we feel for whatever reason may not be a suitable owner for such a pup/dog.
- We DO NOT sell our adult dogs.
The time we started producing those VERY small dogs, the word POCKET and TEACUP were unheard of in the South African vocabulary regarding the Yorkshire Terrier.

When is a YORKIE fully grown?
There is a huge difference of opinion on this subject. The

Enquiry – TINY TEACUP MALE YORKIE……. 08-06-2010
I received a call this week from a Lady in the Cape wanting
to purchase a tinier male than her 900gm yorkie girl that on the off chance of
them mating the female would be able to give birth naturally…
I do realise that a lot of the public believe those very
tiny dogs are bred from very tiny parents.
Well that is not how ours are bred.
We are fortunate enough that those very small dogs are
carried in our lines (of which we have a number) (so we do not INTERBREED) and
passed down in the genes from our dogs we have been breeding for many – many
years.
The time we started producing those VERY small dogs, the
word POCKET and TEACUP were unheard of in the South African vocabulary
regarding the Yorkshire Terrier.
Over the years we have come across people/breeders who bad
mouth the smaller yorkie, and in a fair amount of cases, this is
warranted. You have to consider who
breeds or produces these tiny dogs. HOW they are produced as well. I as a yorkie owner and breeder for many, many
years cannot believe how some dogs are abused in the process all in the name of
trying to breed teacup sized Yorkies. Furthermore beware of people’s opinions
on the subject – especially those with NO experience, extremely limited
experience or experience they THINK they have.
Do you want that tiny dog?
Well most people are not suited to that really small dog.
If you consider yourself to be one of those who can cope
with the demands of that very unique, healthy adorable little yorkie. Here are a few pointers to consider..
Irrespective who you purchase that pup from:
Insist on a sales agreement contract, what happens should the pup die?
Insist that that pup carries health guarantees – if the tiny
yorkie is bred correctly and vet checked correctly there should be no problem.DO NOT accept a pup with an agenda??? I have heard from so many of the public,
they were sold a pup with this problem and at the end of the day, the cost
involved to sort the “AGENDA” cost them thousands. If pups with AGENDA’S are
bred let the people responsible for their birth, be responsible to sort the
AGENDA out as well. If they cannot afford to or do not want to, they should not
be breeding in the first place.
6 weeks of age, is not a suggested age for ANY size yorkie
to be sold and sent to its new home. 8 weeks should be the earliest age, and
where the genuine teacup sized pup is concerned 12 – 14 and 16 weeks of age are
sometimes considered the norm.
If you want that tiny dog – do not BULL DOZE the breeder, give them time to ensure that that pup is the
genuine tiny dog, firstly and that the pup is 100% and that the pup can cope
with leaving its dog mother and litter mates. A breeder who breeds those genuine tiny
babies, goes the extra mile, and will insist that the wellbeing of that pup comes FIRST.
Ensure your tiny is a stable pup. Glucose etc, is not needed to keep any
healthy baby , irrespective of how tiny - stable if it is that - A “HEALTHY” PUP.
The very small yorkie – should be equally as healthy and
live just as long a life as any other yorkie – provided it is owned by someone
in the know. Someone who meets all the requirements and cares for that pup, the
way it needs to be cared for. DO NOT buy the tinier yorkie if you do not have
the time, dedication needed to rear and care for that very special little
pup/dog.
Once again, they are not suited to any CHILD - TEENAGER - STUDENT… they are suited to
someone who has loads of time on their hands, that can baby, and play mother
all day, every day.
YES - WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT OUR DOGS OUR YORKIES OUR PUPPIES
& YES WE DO STRIVE TO ENSURE THAT OUR YORKIE OWNERS ARE BLESSED BY OWNING OUR BABIES....

TEACUP PUPS……….Are you a
suitable owner???
We urge anyone interested in purchasing a GENUINE TEACUP
from us, to ensure they have the lifestyle needed to cope with such a baby and
to please read all the information on our site to ensure, they have a good
knowledge of that tiny baby.
I do believe some people are IN LOVE with the idea of owning
this tiny little dog, without taking into consideration what is involved in
rearing this tiny scrap.
We reserve the right to refuse to sell a Teacup Pup to
anyone who may have made application to us in the past or who may make
application to us in the future to purchase such a pup, if we feel they are not
suited to such a tiny dog.

Charm pictured in the blue jacket our smallest yorkie adult at present 602gms.
6 years old.........

The Yorkie is not for everyone and this must be considered when thinking of adding one to your family.
We breed the Yorkies in different sizes. The Breed Standard is 7lbs or less. We breed all sizes of Yorkies but specialize in the Tiny Tots. (TCup & Pocket Yorkie pages) We have The True Teacup, the Genuine Pocket, The Miniature and rarely the Standard.
The Various sizes are suited to the various people.
The Yorkie is a hands on dog. The smaller the Yorkie, the more attention and dedication required. We sell our dogs with a written contract. This protects both the Breeder and the New Owner. Our pups are home-raised, therefore they portray a super temperament.
A Yorkie is a household dog, not a backyard mutt. They need a lot of t.l.c.and if you are not prepared to go the extra mile, do not consider purchasing a Yorkie. They are highly intelligent, very loving and devoted to their owners, loyal and trusting.
They are not to be purchased as a fashion statement or on the spur of the moment.
They need grooming on a regular basis. Need their teeth checked regularly. Need to be fed a quality dry food diet (Obtainable from your vet) NO table scraps and tit bits.
The smaller Yorkies are not suited to Kenneling so take that into consideration when you consider buying the Tiny Folk. The Maid or the Neighbour is not qualified to look after the pup/dog when you are on leave, if a problem goes un-noticed it could be the end of your tiny Yorkie. We have been involved with the breed for 30 years. Are happy to be of any assistance regarding the care etc of the breed. Articles follow relating to the Genuine Pocket and the True Teacup it is in your interests to read these articles should you be interested in buying the smaller Yorkie.
PLEASE NOTE : OUR PUPS ARE SOLD PURELY AS PETS NOT FOR ANY FORM OF BREEDING
REMEMBER
• Do not buy a Yorkie for a young child, unless under constant supervision and then a larger pup not the tinies.
• Do not expect your child/teenager to take responsibility for the pup/dog you as the parent must, otherwise do not buy the pup.
• If you live in an Apartment, Townhouse or Cluster development find out the Body Corporate / Developments rules regarding the keeping of dogs. So often pups are bought only to find out one is prohibited from keeping them.

Hear
our prayer O Lord ...
for animals that are overworked, underfed, and cruelly
treated;
for
all wistful creatures in captivity that beat their wings against bars;
for
any that are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry;
for
all that must be put to death....
and
for those who deal with them we ask a heart of
compassion
and
gentle hands and kindly words.
Make
us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals,
and
so to share the blessings of the merciful.
~
Albert Schweitzer ~
Thank you Corlia for this beautiful prayer.
