Once the course is finished, any students wanting to continue can either join the next beginners course on the same day at a reduced price, (R560),or move to the Wednesday 7pm-8pm slot to continue on a monthly bases, (R280 per month), & to become a long term student.

One of the most powerful benefits of belly dance can be experienced the very first time you make a simple figure of 8 with your hips. When you belly dance, you will discover muscles that you didn’t know existed & learn to use them in new & unusual ways. Dance is a form of expression, although good technique is important, it is just as important to discover the joy & freedom that comes from moving your body in pleasurable ways. You might have started belly dance as a novel way to keep fit or to de-stress, but now you find that you are intrigued by the movements, the colourful, flowing costumes, the make-up & the traditional music.

There is no more fun way to get in shape than to shimmy & move your hips to the hypnotic beat of a drum & to move to the slow sensual vocals of a lovelorn singer!!! Belly dancing has changed drastically in the past nine years since I started Middle Eastern dancing & has become more accessible to all ranges of cultures, creeds & races.

Is Belly Dancing for You?

You’ll never know until you try. This is a dance form for woman of all ages. Some start as young as 4years of age, as teenagers or young woman, & others well into middle age. There is no age limit, or any Special body type. Middle Eastern Dancers are tall, short, heavy or thin. There is such a variety of techniques & combinations, as well as ways to express ourselves that we all reach our own comfort zones. Bellydance is perhaps the oldest form of dance and its origins can be traced back to ancient times.

Bellydance is for everyone. Goddesses come in all shapes & sizes!! The classes are for Fun, and to feel Sensual & Feminine. But most of all.........To feel comfortable in our own skins!
